WBD Named Battle Motors Vendor of the Year

Battle Motors recently hosted their annual Dealer Appreciation Breakfast at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, NV during this year’s WasteExpo conference and trade show. At the breakfast, Battle recognized their top performing vendors with Western Branch Diesel taking home the 2022 Vendor of the Year award.

“The award was unexpected. We didn’t know we had won until they called out our name,” says Chad Wells, Territory Manager for Western Branch Diesel. “It’s nice to be recognized for all the hard work the Western Branch Diesel team does, but we are just doing our jobs.”

Battle created this award four years ago to recognize the vendor that goes above and beyond the expectations set for vendors. Western Branch Diesel supplies Allison transmissions to Battle for use in their truck chassis.

“Western Branch Diesel has been an integral supplier to us providing Allison Parts & Transmissions, on time, to our production facility. Their commitment to our success is appreciated,” says Jill Hamilton, Chief Procurement Officer, Battle Motors.

When asked what set Western Branch Diesel apart from the 200+ other vendors eligible for the award, Mike Cox, Vice President of HQ Services at Battle Motors, notes “Wells and Western Branch Diesel are always ready to step in and help us and our customers whenever needed,” says Cox.

“The Canton team strives to continue building our relationship with Battle and we work every day to provide the Gold Standard in sales, service, and support for Allison Transmission,” says Wells. “As Battle Motors continues to grow, we will be there to support them along the way.”
